Synopsis
High school girls working on DIY projects, as they struggle, fail, yet don't give up and see the projects through to their end. The story depicts the lives of those girls as they take the first step toward the future.
Building furniture and friendships have a lot in common. Intention, effort, and hard work are needed for both crafts. This is a story of girls in a DIY club building both as they carve out their futures. None of it comes easy, but that doesn’t stop any of ’em. Furniture, friendships, and the future—they’re building it all with their own hands!
เซรุฟุ (Yua Serufu พ้องเสียงกับ Yourself) สาวมัธยมปลายซื่อๆ ที่ทำตัวสบายแบบไม่สนเรื่องรอบตัวนัก ซุ่มซ่าม เจ็บตัวง่ายจากความประมาท ชอบสัตว์และไม่สนเรื่องเทคโนโลยีเท่าไหร่ ใช้ชีวิตแบบไร้เป้าหมายและไม่ค่อยสนิทกับใคร จนได้มาพบรุ่นพี่ ยาซาคุ เรย์ ที่ช่วยซ่อมจักรยานให้ เมื่อตามไปขอบคุณที่หลังโรงเรียนและพบว่าชมรมขาดสมาชิก เธอถูกชวนเข้าชมรม DIY ได้สร้างพวกเฟอร์นิเจอร์และสิ่งของ DIY ต่างๆ ด้วยตัวเอง
* DIY = Do it yourself คือ การสร้าง ดัดแปลง หรือซ่อมบางสิ่งด้วยตัวเอง โดยปราศจากความช่วยเหลือของผู้เชี่ยวชาญหรือมืออาชีพ ซึ่งหลายสิ่งซ่อมแซมและสร้างเองได้ง่ายกว่าที่คิด แต่น้อยคนที่จะสนใจและคิดว่าเป็นงานช่างฝีมือเท่านั้น (Wikipedia)
